Greece

One of the sunniest places in the world, Greece, enjoys over 300 days of sunshine per year. We like the sound of those odds!

Greece has over 6,000 islands, ranging in size from miniature to giant. Although the focus is often on the 16,000 kilometres of stunning coastline, over 80% of Greece is mountainous, with the famous Santorini still having an active volcano. Many beaches are unique with their black volcanic sand, so grab yourself a moped and hurry off to bag yourself a secluded spot.

Life in Greece is all about bringing people together and sharing good times with loved ones. We agree and believe that's the secret to every great holiday.  Enjoy great food with Greek charm and sunshine to match.

If you're searching for a secluded villa with an infinity pool that mirrors the Mediterranean, or you'd prefer to be inland exploring the vast mountains and mythology. You can find everything you need to create your own Mamma Mia dream in Greece.

Get in touch and speak to one of our experts today.

You will have heard of Santorini, Mykonos and Crete, but there are many more remote islands to explore. Mykonos has fabulous nightlife and is an ideal spot for sunset drinks with a lively atmosphere. If you're hoping to experience a more traditional Greek holiday, head towards the rugged clifftops of Meteora or sink into a cabana on the white-washed beaches of Othonoi.

Samothrace

The island of Samothrace is known for its laid back vibe. Featuring waterfalls, castles, hot springs and gorgeous pebbled beaches, the island has an abundance of beautiful places to explore.

It's said there are more goats on the island than people, so watch your hat! Mount Saos is one of the highest mountains in the Aegean, so it's well worth the hike. Head to Kamariotissa is the spot for a fresh catch at dinner.

The best time to visit is from April - October if you want the optimum weather for activities such as hiking, mountain biking, canoe rafting, kayaking and paragliding.

Milos

Greece's best-kept secret! It's easy to get to from Athens and has more beaches than many of the other Cyclades. Milos is also volcanic, meaning the vast natural beauty is lush and dramatic.

Half of the island is a nature reserve, so if you're into the local fauna, hire a guide and discover the quieter left-hand side of the island by horseback. If you'd prefer to be on the water, there's plenty of paddle boarding, sailing and island hopping to keep you entertained. Don't miss the Sikia cave that's only accessible by boat.

Visit from May - October, for the warmest weather.

Amanzoe Hotel

You'll feel like royalty, staying in the Amanzoe Hotel in Porto. Its 360-degree views are breathtaking, yet your eyes are drawn to the beauty of the building itself. The private pavilions and marble villas are held up with gigantic columns, mimicking the Greek ruins that surround the area.

The resort boasts its own private beach, fragrant gardens, a fleet of speedboats waiting in the bay below its spacious hilltop position. This hotel is unbelievable, and we hope you enjoy it as it's one of our favourite luxury hotels in Greece.

Santorini Secret Suites & Spa

This five-star boutique property sits perched on the cliffs of Santorini and lives up to every Greek dream holiday. With marble walkways, private balconies and infinity pools to splash into before breakfast. Although the hotel is vast, it has a very intimate feel, with only 17 rooms. This means the service, cleanliness and personal experience are a top priority.

Whether you'd like to be sipping cocktails in the pool bar, dining on the outdoor terrace overlooking the ocean or just reading a book in peace by your own private pool. This really is a great spot to relax and unwind.

Andronis Concept Wellness Resort

If you've got your heart set on Santorini but aren't so keen on the similar white-washed hotels you see on Instagram. Then look no further than the cave style Andronis Resort. Described as a place of irresistible beauty and tranquillity, it's the ideal place to watch the sunset against the Aegean. The sophisticated accommodation is romantic, contemporary with a splash of traditional Santorinian style.

This is one of our favourite properties, as you can adopt a grapevine in the Andronis' vineyard and receive 6 personalized bottles of wine delivered to you throughout the year. Isn't that a brilliant touch?

Zagori

An area of outstanding natural beauty not to be missed. Situated in the northwest of the Greek mainland and smothered with thick green canopies and rugged mountains, Zagori is a true gem that is yet to be properly discovered by tourists. Explore the tiny villages nestled beside the bumbling streams that feed the community. The best way to explore real Greece is to grab your trainers and explore on foot. The Vikos Gorge is not to be missed.

Diapontia Islands

Out of the 6,000 islands, only 227 are inhabited, so there's plenty of exploring to do. The Diapontia islands are a hidden paradise with sparkling turquoise waters, empty beaches and wild scenery. Keep a lookout for dolphins when you're bathing in the Ionian sea.

Meteora

A small village perched on the top of a cliff. The incredible cliffs below make it a striking landmark. It's a great spot to enjoy the sunset or e-bike up to the monastery at the top for the best view.

Mainland Greece Tour

10 days

Day 1 - Arrive in Athens and get taken to your hotel by a private driver. Take things easy on the first day and wander around Athens, taking in the sights and smells of the city. You could even spend the evening tasting traditional wine or learning about how olive oil is made.

Day 2 - Meet a private guide who can take you on a walking tour of the Acropolis. The guide will share the area's local knowledge and history, which you wouldn't learn if you went alone. In the afternoon, explore the city and immerse yourself in the hustle and bustle for a few hours.

Day 3 - We hope you're hungry, as on day 3 we recommend taking a food tour of Athens. Tasting different local cuisines directly from the local producers.

Day 4 - Wave goodbye to Athens for a few days and head north to Kastraki. Your driver will stop at the small town of Trikala, where you can enjoy an ice cream or stretch your legs. Another great spot is the local distillery, where you can taste Ouzo, local wines and Tsipouro.

Day 5 - Lace up your trainers, as today you could explore Meteora, a giant rock formation with a monastery balanced at the top. Remember to bring your camera, as a smartphone just won’t do justice to the extremely beautiful cliffs.

Day 6 - Your driver will be waiting to take you to the south coast, to the small village of Galaxidi. It's only a stone's throw away from Peloponnese, so you can spend the rest of the day exploring or lying on a beach with a cocktail in hand.

Day 7 - Today, you will move on to Nafplio, in the middle of the Peloponnese area. There are many archaeological sites and wineries nearby if you fancy some wine tasting after lunch.

Day 8 - Greece is renowned for great food, and today you're going to be sampling some of it. Nafplio has an extensive range of family-run businesses, including beekeepers, ouzo distilleries and local cheesemakers. Try them all and discover a new favourite.

Day 9 - Grab your swimmers, as today is all about the water. Take a refreshing guided tour by kayak along the coastline discovering underwater ruins and stunning wildlife. Make sure you bring a snorkel as you won't want to miss out on a glimpse of the exotic underwater world.

Day 10 - Your driver will take you back to Athens, where you will pick up your international flight back home.

Greek Island Hopping

Day 2 - Travel to your first island, named Milos, by ferry. Spend the afternoon relaxing and exploring the island.

Day 4 - Take on a private geological tour of Milos, where you'll see the volcanic landscapes, sandy beaches lined with red rocks and wildlife.

Day 5 - This morning, head to the port and take a ferry to Santorini. Enjoy the sea breeze aboard the ferry as you reach the beautiful white and blue island.

Day 6 - Stay at one of our favourite hotels, the Santorini Secret Spa & Suites, renowned for its laidback luxury. Go for lunch at a local farm, where you'll learn about the history of the food and where it's come from.

Day 7 - Chill out by the pool, or wander down the cobbled streets in Caldera. In the afternoon, board a catamaran and take a cruise around Santorini. Take your snorkel as there will be plenty of time to jump off the boat, explore the small coves and sunbathe on the deck.

Day 8 - On day 8, we recommend jetting off to Mykonos by ferry. It's a little more lively than Santorini, but it's just as beautiful. Avoid the heat by spending the afternoon learning how to cook traditional Greek food in a real restaurant kitchen.

Day 9 - Explore Mykonos on your own, hire a moped or take a guided tour. There's plenty to see and do, or if you prefer, you can laze by the pool and work on your tan. It's up to you.

Day 10 - Return to Athens for your return flight home.
