Chalet Pearl, Val d’Isère
Clean, comfortable and cosy cocoons nestled in the Vanoise National Park. That’s what springs to mind when we visit the Black Pearl & White Pearl chalets in Val d’Isère. Built and designed by Philippe Capezzone, the owner and designer of K2 Palace Hotels in Courchevel 1850.
The chalets are a short drive from the ski lifts and access to over 300km of terrain in the Espace Killy. Ski over to Tignes for lunch or wander in the snow drenched forests stopping for a Tarte Myrtille (blueberry tart) at a local refuge.
Ferme de la Corderie, Les Gets
Nominated as the World's Best New Ski Chalet 2017, Ferme de la Corderie in Les Gets is your own slice of farmhouse luxury for your holiday.
With six bedrooms, including a vast white marble bathroom in the master suite, it’s the rustic alpine experience you’ve been dreaming of. Share the space with friends or bring the whole family. The kids will be occupied in the games room or the hot tub whilst you recline at the bar or with your feet up by the open fire.
The chalet is a short drive away from the Portes du Soleil, so you won’t be short of a ski run or two to explore. Make it your home for a week, and trust us, you’ll never want to leave.
Le Yule Val d’Isère
Le Yule is a gorgeous new boutique hotel based in the centre of Val d’Isère. It’s a popular hotel, with mainly south-facing rooms, many with little sun trap balconies. The hotel has just 41 rooms and suites and is a short walk from the main street.
It’s an elegant hotel, so whether you want to sip cocktails at the bar, cosy up by the fire or relax in the spa, you’re in for a treat.
For beginners skiers or snowboarders as it’s close to the Olympic Bellevarde and Solaise slopes. Step out of the hotel and walk a short distance to the ski slopes: it's ideal for maximising slope time.
